Truth in Cigarette Labeling

Wow, did you read this?  Some of you are smokers, I know. Do you ever look at Cigarette labeling?  Cigarette packages are going to begin to show pictures of diseased lungs and corpses and sick babies.  The new labels are supposed to cover half a pack’s surface. A bold move by the FDA.  OK – so some of you are still smoking.  Don’t worry,  while I hope for you to have a life full of vitality, I won’t jump on you right away when you walk in the door. And at the same time, wouldn’t it be nice for you to be sitting here with me in 20 years, and for you not to be coughing all the time? I think this forwards my concept of choosing VITALITY in this lifetime.

And for you Libertarians, yes, you all have a right to do whatever you want to do, and yes, that does include (potentially) hurting yourself or making your life shorter. But don’t deny yourself a little extra input, so you can make your own best choices. The ability to choose has not been taken from you.  My input – choose vitality. Do you know a smoker? Turn them on to vitality.
