November 25, 2010Burning Clean Fat (Part Deux)
December 25, 2010At the risk of TMI, I will now share about weight loss, the first in a series. I work out 3 days a week, lightly. With my family genes, I noticed my weight climbing no matter how carefully I ate. So despite the fact that I am quite active and reasonably athletic, I need to do more. So this week, I have begun a “Cleanse” program recommended by my friend at another clinic. This is a healthy one, not a gimmick.
The packaged full-feature cleanse is delivered via a multi-level market program so I am not going to get into the details of that here, but it’s not too bad, although the package is expensive – about $10 a day. It’s a shake-meal-shake thing where I replace 2 meals a day with theirs, and then I eat my “dinner” at lunchtime. So, it’s “kind of” like eating with my family, I can watch them eat the plate food and think about it as a leftover for the next day. The point is that I am committed and I intend to lose 15 pounds or more in less than 30 days. I could lose more if I wanted to burn even harder. I would not mind 20. I am fine with 15.
So I have these shakes, and some fat-burner supplements, and it seems to be working well. There actually is a clean feeling of burning internal energy that I notice. It’s actually good clean energy, my body has prepared it for me to burn it, I just had to call upon it. Much better than burning sugars (carbos) for example… No problems with my workouts at all. I actually feel more committed. 40 mins this morning, for example.
And you can do more chin ups when you are 15 pounds lighter… I’m committed. Whether the feeling is real or is lightheadedness, we can talk about in 30 days….
