Is Life “Uncrustable”?
July 2, 2011Larger Waist, Higher Risk of Death
September 8, 2011There is a better recovery rate with chiropractic care after a work injury. An April 2011 study of workers injured on the job who were treated via chiropractic rather than physical therapists and MDs alone, showed a much higher rate of recovery with Chiropractic. This study, in the Journal of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, also showed that the number of return episodes was less with chiropractic. One explanation is that chiropractic model presents a broader health education to the patient and potentially inspires better recovery, and not simply temporary pain control. (link follows). The average cost per disability episode with chiropractic care overall was also lower. It also follows then that this should also apply to better, faster recovery with chiropractic, after motor vehicle accidents. I love this kind of stuff!
